It’s week two of the One Room Challenge! If you missed out on week one, I’ve decided to spruce up our main bathroom. It got hit pretty hard with the big home renovation, and it’s time to give it a little much-deserved attention and get my washroom inspiration on!
I’m starting with a clean slate. I have already installed a new (incredibly gorgeous shaker-style) door, and new toilet, and we’re keeping the existing lighting and faucet from our small makeover a couple years back. So now it’s time to plan the pretty! (This post may contain affiliate links. I want to introduce some black into our washroom. Maybe even a little black paint?! (I’m excited for that one). Wood tones, rustic accents and that pretty ‘dirty ballet pink’ that is so popular right now — yep, a little of that too! I love that the Hubs just shrugs and says he trusts me… because black and pink for a main washroom? Maybe not everyone’s first choice. But I have faith it’s going to translate to real-life just the way it is in my little noggin.
I’ve done a little online imagining and planning, and gathered my inspiration here. All the images below, are clickable affiliate links for your convenience.
So a little of that^, with a little of this…
What do we think?! Do we like where this is going? I think it will jazz the place up whole lot and give a good smack of personality to this “guest” part of the house.
Catch me next week! Let’s see how much trouble I can get into in the next seven days!
