We are on week three of the One Room Challenge! I’m making over my little lady’s room with a fresh new Kids Bedroom Design. We have made big strides, including some incredible artwork from Minted… though it’s tough to show the progress in a few pics. White paint over white primer doesn’t make for the biggest visual change. Buuuuut — it’s going so good you guys! I assure you, that is actually paint. Lots of lovely “Simply White” from Benjamin Moore. It is super fresh and it’s a perfect shade of white. The house is so bright now, I can’t wait to see the whole place come together… but for now, I’m focused on my little lady’s room. So, we’ve seen the bed frames, we’ve seen the inspiration, and now I have art! It’s ordered and on its way, and I couldn’t be more excited. Let’s cross our fingers I get it in time. Take a peek at my choices… (This post may contain affiliate links. Pinks and purples… check! Inky colours… check! Flora and fauna… check! The Kiddo’s room will get a hit of personality with these pieces for sure. You can check out all of the Minted artwork, here. The choices are absolutely endless — you’ll have a tough time picking your fave.
MINTED ART (from top left)
- “Fleeting” by Betty Hatchett
- “Swing” by Katie Craig
- “Wake II” by Lindsay Megahed
- “Moonlit Indigo Garden” by Stephanie Ryan
And I also snagged this new chicken wire light from Lowe’s. So simple, rustic-modern, and I love that little bit of twine wrapped around the light stem. Some other odds and ends have made it home with me, like the second twin mattress from Ikea, some pretty purple throw blankets, and pillow forms… which means I need to get my butt in gear and start sewing some pillows! So much fabric… so little time!

I love Minted art, they have the best selection. That light fixture is also amazing.
Thanks Katy! It’s starting to come together!
Oh my, Jen! That farmhouse light is GORGEOUS! I agree with you, the twine really makes it a special piece. I also love the colors and choices in the Minted art. It’s going to be such a beautiful space when you’re done.
Thanks Carrie! It’s all coming together ;)
That art is amazing – I am always impressed with watercolours because for some reason it’s the one paint style I cannot make look good. Hopefully you can get all your pillows sewed (another thing I cannot do!).
Thanks Nicole! I was pretty excited when they arrived! ;)
