Alright, first off… look at that face. That is a happy face. The Kiddo was my little model for my little paper experiment, creating a DIY Princess Party Crown. And, I gotta tell you… it is EASY! Follow along, and let me know if you give this one a shot, in the comments! (This post may contain affiliate links. Use your ruler and marker to mark off two sides of the square craft paper. You’re going to square off the corner edge, as shown with the dotted line, in the photo above.
Cut out your crown shape and, if needed, cut an additional strip to use as an extender piece, to make the crown band larger.
Staple, or glue the crown ends, together.
All that’s left to do is glue on the pretty stuff! Get your jewels, gems, feathers… whatever! And, have fun decorating your new Paper Crown! Or better yet, do it with your kids, and let them go nuts (maybe with white glue, instead of a glue gun)!
Be prepared for spontaneous dancing! Kiddo just couldn’t help herself, once she was wearing this sparkly gem of a hat, er, crown. Looooooving it!
Be sure to Pin for later!
