This… is a mess.
I mean, not just a mess, it’s a little ridiculous. I love my tools (a gift from Steven for my last birthday, yep — that’s how we roll) but I don’t love looking through them all when I just need that oooone little thing, sitting on the bottom. Plus, it doesn’t even fit my drill. And, my drill needs a home.
Enter 30 buckeroos, and I could hear the angels singing… a new pull-out-tray Mastercraft tool box.
Whaaaaat! Look at that. All that seperation — screws together, fasteners together, blades and pencils together!
All my hand tools in one easy-to-grab place. A full size hammer just hiding, right where I need it to be.
And, what’s that there? My drill, with plenty of room left over for some other awkward things. Dust mask anyone?
It took 6 months to clean this nonsense up! Ack, definitely one of those why-didn’t-I-do-this-sooner moments. Just a smidge of effort into organization is so wonderful. It will never cease to amaze me.
It will also never cease to amaze me how long I can procrastinate on these things! Go organize something people!

I have one of these, and several of different sizes….one for plumbing, one for electrical, one for furnace maintenance. It’s so handy to have all the appropriate basic tools handy to grab ‘n’ go. One question, though; as an ancient (61 yr old) draftsman, what is the 30-60-90 set square for?
Oh we have all kinds of tools in all sorts of places with our “likes to help us build things” toddler. Anything to keep her hands busy! ;)
