Who loves Pinterest? I do! That is where I found this handy dandy DIY recipe for natural weed killer. Make your OWN Natural Weed Killer, with 3 Ingredients!
I used an old Febreze bottle I had kicking around, and it took about 40ml of salt, a squirt of dish soap, and then filled the bottle to the top with pickling vinegar (it has a higher acidic value than the regular stuff).
This was the target. Clover and weeds growing in between the stones in my little circular rock garden. Not a good look. Errg!
I sprayed them down and a few hours later, I had this…
I threw on some garden gloves and had it all cleared out in a couple minutes. Not a single sign left of any unwanted weeds. However, I did overspray a little and had a ring of brown grass, see? Whoopsie!
But the next week, that had filled in. And, the rocks continued to look clear for WEEKS to come. Worked fan-tas-tic!
I will definitely be keeping a bottle of this handy, to make the outdoor chores a bit easier!
